Profile - Moira Burmeister

Moira started her career in 1978 as a nurse, and did midwifery gaining the gold medal for top student in the country. After her training she expanded into occupational health, setting up and managing clinics in various industries - food, clothing, textile and insurance.

At the same time she completed a post graduate nursing degree (BA Cur) UNISA SA.

In 1992, she took a career break to nurture her two children in their first years of development.

In 1997, she launched her highly successful garden design and landscaping business, a good outlet for her creativity, but not sufficient to feed her thirst for working with people.

In reassessing her own life, in order to reach her full potential, she worked with a psychophonetics practitioner and was so impressed with the results that she then spent three years studying to become a psychophonetics practitioner.

Her graduate Diploma in Psychophonetics was obtained through Persephone Institute which originated in Australia, and is now based in Hout Bay, Cape Town with a branch in the United Kingdom.

She is also member of the International Association of Psychophonetics Practitioners. (IAPP)

Since then she has counseled and coached caregivers in hospitals, those serving HIV positive clients and AIDS orphans. Moira dealt with conflict in the workplace in corporate environments, successfully reducing absenteeism and increasing productivity. In addition, she was able to assist individuals at all stages in life to enhance their potential.

Her passion is to co-create with individuals to transform their lives so that they can enjoy living fully as members of their families, community, workforce and society.
